Advanced Environmental Geology (AEG) is dedicated to providing our clients with the best quality of service economically and efficiently. At AEG, we constantly familiarize ourselves with the latest regulations and technologies, and we are involved in the geologic community, with active membership in the Hudson-Mohawk Professional Geologists Association.


Our dedicated staff comes from a variety of scientific backgrounds which better suit your geologic and environmental consulting needs.

 

Brian Norensky – Principal Geologist/Environmental Scientist

Brian is principal geologist and owner of Advanced Environmental Geology. He established AEG in 2011 with the purpose of providing efficient, quality environmental consulting services. Brian earned a B.A. in Geology with a minor in Environmental Science in 2003. He has over eight years of experience in the environmental and geologic consulting industry. Bernd Neumann Geologist/Environmental Science

Bernie earned a B.S. in Geology from SUNY Oneonta in 1998, and an M.S. in Environmental Geochemistry from SUNY Albany in 2009. His research focused on mercury concentrations in aquatic plants and sediments, and he was the recipient of several student grants. He has over a decade of experience consulting in the geologic sciences.

 

Lauren Neulander – Environmental Scientist/Lab Technician

Lauren earned a B.S. in Environmental Forest Biology from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in 2005. She worked for the NYS Department of Health from 2006-2011 as a research scientist and has worked at AEG since 2012. Contact Lauren at aeg.ljn@gmail.com.


 

gps picAEG is equipped with the Trimble GeoXH Explorer 6000 & Zephyr Modelantenna pic (GLONASS) antenna. This specialized survey equipment is the new standard in GPS (GNSS) mapping performance with floodlight technology enabling data to be retrieved even in the most hidden and hardest to reach areas.
